Children's Ministry Co-ordinator, Student and Youth worker, Associate Minister

Three exciting new posts have opened up as we seek under God to see growth continue and deepen.

We want to appoint a part-time co-ordinator for our Sunday Club ministry to nearly 80 children up to the age of 11.

The successful applicant would be responsible for organising teams, recruiting volunteers, teaching a group of children, building links with parents in our congregations, and sharing in the planning of the teaching and training programmes.

Applicants should have some experience of teaching the Bible to children, have good people and organisational skills, and want to be part of a church with a vision to grow.

Start date: June 2018, ideally.

Length of contract: 12 months, with possible extension

Appointment subject to DBS clearance.

It is a Genuine Occupational Requirement that the post-holder signs the St Ebbe’s Statement of Faith.

Student and Youth Worker

We are looking to appoint someone to oversee our student work and ministry to young people.

We want to disciple, train and grow the 40-50 Brookes students who are part of church; and grow the currently smaller work among 11-18s. There will be some pastoral support of male students, so we are seeking a gospel-hearted man.

There would also be some preaching opportunities.

The post would suit someone who wants a job with real responsibility, who has had some training (perhaps an apprenticeship or Cornhill training, or similar); and is considering longer-term ministry in the future.

Start date: 18th August 2018, ideally.

Appointment subject to enhanced DBS clearance.

It is a Genuine Occupational Requirement that the post-holder signs the St Ebbe’s Statement of Faith.

We are also looking to appoint an Associate Minister

The job chiefly involves preaching, training, oversight of small groups, encouraging evangelism in the church family, and ministry among men – so we are seeking a gospel-hearted man to fulfil this role.

The post would suit someone who has had formal theological training, experience of ministry and is an ordained Anglican.

Start date: September 2018, ideally – but we would be happy to wait for the right person.
